Time Capsule - Social Distortion CBGB 1992
9 03 2007Like stumbling upon an undeveloped roll of film you thought had been lost on vacation years ago, here is a clip of Social Distortion playing at CBGB in NYC circa 1992. The show was filmed and simulcast live to the “big screen” in Times Square - back before the entire corridor morphed into one big continuous television.
True story - after the show, I came out of CBs, hailed a cab right away - no problem, hopped into the back seat and the driver say he just saw me on the JumboTron in Times Square. Friends called from California who saw it picked up on MTV news.
And now, some 15 years later - i finally get to see the clip. I love you internet.

I remeber that night. Good show. If only I was 6 inches taller I could say the same thing.
Found a new video, I can be seen at the 24-34 second mark(facing camera, back by wall, nodding head). I believe right around there I see your head come in.
